When Thames Chase Community Forest was first established, a beautiful wooden covered Book of Celebrations recorded donations from supporters who wished to remember an event, both happy and sad by planting a tree or trees. The book fell out of use for a number of years and now the Friends of Thames Chase would like to open its pages again. From January 2012, anyone wishing to leave a legacy by donating towards planing within the forest can have a few lines written in the Book of Celebration as a permanent reminder of the occasion. The book will be kept in the visitor centre and available to view on request.
