London Loop Section 22
This section will, it is hoped, eventually follow the River Ingrebourne for nearly all its length, cutting the distance to 4.5km (2.8 miles) and raising both the green and blue factors to around 80%. At present much of the riverside is inaccessible and you must divert to some rather tedious roadside walking. However, the riverside that is now accessible provides enjoyable walking. Some of the route is shared with the Upminster Circular Walk, and when riverside access is complete this section will also form part of the proposed Ingrebourne Valley Greenway.
