Get
involved
There are many ways that you can
"Get Involved" in your local Community Forest.
Firstly, why not visit the Thames
Chase Forest Centre, the home of Thames Chase. Here,
you can visit the stunning new Forest Centre building
and the adjoining seventeenth century Broadfields Barn.
Relax with a coffee in the café, treat yourself
to some gifts from the shop, or just stroll around the
surrounding landscape of new woods, meadows and ponds,
all teeming with wildlife. There is also an interactive
and fun exhibition to help all the family find out more
about Thames Chase.
Secondly, there are almost 50 other sites that are also
open to the public within Thames Chase; from well known
Country Parks such as Thorndon and Eastbrookend to new,
small community woodlands right on your doorstep. Go
to Out and About
to find out more about these sites.
Thirdly, there are exciting environmental
education opportunities for children of all ages
at the Thames Chase Forest Centre. From playschemes
to birthday parties and after school groups, there will
be something to appeal to everyone.
Lastly, if you have some spare time and energy, what
about Volunteering
in
Thames Chase? |
