Lower Thames Crossing update: New engagement opportunities

The Lower Thames Crossing group are hosting further consultations about the proposed road project and delivery

Following an extensive consultation period (15,000 people attending events across the region) and reviewing the information in responses from individuals, organisations, businesses and community groups (around 29,000 in total), the Lower Thames Crossing delivery group is hosting further engagement opportunities for residents in the local area.

The dates and venues for north of the river, where the proposed route will impact on the Thames Chase Community Forest and Land of the Fanns areas, are:

Tuesday 13 AugustGrays Town Centre, High Street, 10:00-19:00

Wednesday 14 AugustGrays Town Centre, High Street, 10:00-19:00

Thursday 15 August outside Upminster Library, Corbets Tey Road, 10:00-17:00

Thursday 22 August Bay Tree Shopping Centre, Brentwood, 10:00-17:00

Wednesday 4 September Lakeside Shopping Centre (Level 1), 10:00-21:00

Thursday 5 SeptemberLakeside Shopping Centre (Level 1), 10:00-21:00

Ground investigation work across the proposed route has also begun, and you can see a video of the progress online (Highways England website).
