Thames Chase children's art competition

This special summer competition concludes on Friday 9 August

Alongside the Art and Sculpture Exhibition this summer, Thames Chase Trust is running a special art competition for children to showcase the woodland wonder across the Community Forest and beyond.

This year's summer holiday crafts and activities may help inspire budding young artists with their submission, with the woodland wonders theme extending to arts, crafts and activities related to the wildlife and rich natural history of the landscape across the Thames Chase Community Forest.

Age categories: 5-8 years old, 9-12 years old, 13-16 years old

Comepetition rules

1 entry per child

Submission must be received before 17:00 on Friday 9 August 2019

Submission to be accompanied by a short paragraph about the picture, as well as the name and age of the child and contact information for a parent/guardian.

Winners will be revealed at the opening ceremony of the 2019 Art and Sculpture Exhibition: Ideas and Imagination, on Tuesday 13 August, by Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year 2019 finalist Tom Mead.
