Thames Chase Forest Centre reopening 

Following the most recent government guidance and close co-ordination with Forestry England, we are planning to reopen Thames Chase Forest Centre, cafe (take away only) and toilets on Saturday 11th July 2020.⁠

As we look forward to welcoming everyone back, between 10am and 4pm each day, the health and safety of our visitors remains of paramount importance. We have consulted government guidance and made a few changes to the way the centre works:

- Toilets: a one way system will be in place, please follow signs. Please ask at reception for the key to the adapted bathroom.
- Car park: Please remember to bring cash (£2) for the ticket machine
- Cafe: There will be a takeout service only from the cafe. Please follow the signs for the one way system. Contactless payment requested.
- Shop: 10 visitors in the building at a time, please do not handle items unless wishing to purchase. Contactless payment requested.
- Sanitising stations: Sanitisers will be available at all entrances.
- Sorry, the playground will not be open.
- Please help us by observing social distancing of 2m and following the directional signs.
- Please do not visit the centre if showing signs of coronavirus, please follow NHS advice.
