The Land of the Fanns team in partnership with Discover ME invites intrepid explorers, history buffs and the plain curious to board Daisy, a vintage Route Master on Saturday 3 August to take a tour of the fascinating history hiding in plain sight in the Land of the Fanns.
The route starts at and returns to Valence House, the 15th century moated manor house that is now a local history museum in Barking and Dagenham. Daisy’s route for the day takes in the following historic buildings: Queen Elizabeth Hunting Lodge, Ilford Hospital Chapel, Eastbury Manor House, where the tour stops for lunch and finally Valence House Museum.
The tour departs from Valence House Museum, Becontree Road, Barking and Dagenham at 10am and returns here at approximately 4pm. Due to the nature of the tour and the vintage transport, sadly no dogs or buggies can be accommodated.
The bus tour must be pre-booked online via Eventbrite as spaces are limited.

Children 11-15 - £10
Under 10’s - Free (but spaces must be reserved)
Please note the tour is not suitable for very young children.
Buffet lunch at Eastbury Manor is included in the ticket price.
