Pages Wood and Harold Court Wood
Join us for our 4.5 mile circular guided walk on surfaced paths around Pages Wood and Harold Court Wood.
During the walk we will have a brief stop close to the River Ingrebourne where the Forestry Commission and Land of the Fanns will explain their plans for improvements to Pages Wood and the River Ingrebourne.
Pages Wood is the largest Forestry Commission site in the Thames Chase Community Forest with over 100,000 trees planted since it opened in 2002.
Harold Court Woods is also a Forestry Commission site which has over 40,000 recently planted trees and also some ancient trees including an ‘Apostles Circle’ of horse chestnut trees.
Meet at Nags Head Lane car park opposite the garden centre at 10.00am. Booking not required.
