Join us for some fresh air and enjoy the outdoors on our guided walk around Thorndon Country Park.
Circular Guided Walk from Thorndon Country Park South via Visitor Centre in North Park – 5 miles
The walk begins in Thorndon’s open parkland and passes the site of the Old Thorndon Hall, up to the remains of the pigeon mound. The pastures offer great views across the Thames valley and towards London. The walk then continues through Thorndon North’s beautiful woodland. There will be a brief stop at the Thorndon Park Visitor’s Centre for facilities and refreshments before returning to the South car park through varied woodland.
