Worzel Gummidge Day
Sunday 14th April, 10am-2pm
Worzel Gummidge is no ordinary scarecrow – he is full of fun and mischief and has a big heart.
Scarecrow making
Come and make your own scarecrow between 10am and 12noon and enter our scarecrow competition (judging at 12.30pm)
Bring some old clothes (wooden frame and straw provided)
Booking essential to secure your frame (£3).
Lots of other activities between 10am and 2pm including:
- Making natural sculptures with a local sculptor
- Making potato heads and potato printing
- Face painting
- Making bird boxes
- Willow weaving
- Sowing vegetable seeds (your scarecrow will scare away the birds)
Also Sunday Market with produce and craft stalls!
