The Thames Chase Partnership
How
the Formal Partnership Works
The Thames Chase Joint Committee is the over-arching
executive body in Thames Chase. It contains representatives
of a number of the Thames Chase Partners, including
members from each of the five local authorities. The
Joint Committee meets quarterly and, effectively,
instructs the Thames Chase Team to carry out work
on behalf of the Partnership.
Two other groups also meet quarterly and advise the
Thames Chase Team. The Forest Forum is made up of
local interest groups and local representatives of
national organisations; representing areas such as
wildlife, access, heritage etc. The Planners Group
consists of local authority officers from the five
partner authorities and advises at both a strategic
and project level.
